John Lock - International Powerlifter
In January I injured my adductor during a powerlifting meet whilst squatting 330kg.
Like most people I thought I could train through it and after 3 weeks I thought resting was the answer. 3 months later and there was no improvement. In May I got in contact with Joe who immediately booked me in for an assessment and within a day we were working closely together on a rehab program.
I met with Joe several times a week and he would asses my progress and prescribe the necessary progression exercises. Within a month we were loading a barbell and doing squats again. After 6 weeks I had successfully paused squatted 255kg pain free which was also a personal best in this variation.
I now have a personalized warm up plan from Joe as I prepare to start adding heavy squatting to my training program once again.
I can’t thank Joe enough for his help. His knowledge and experience are second to none!

Coaches Comments:
John Lock has been a pleasure to work with. He has demonstrated not only the commitment to his training and development but was very open to the way exercise rehabilitation works. Me and John worked together over the weeks to make sure the exercises that were given were completed with intent and focus towards the end result.
A massive well done to you John, I am over the moon by how much you put into your training.
